Alienware 15 R2 broken screen

Hi all My Alienware 15" R2 was loaned to my Ex-Girlfriends son before we split up. I've gotten it back and parts are missing and the screen is kaput! Not bothered about the missing parts as it looks like memory and ssd not to bad to replace.. but any suggestions for the screen! I've gotten these details from the Alienware site when I put my service number in and it shows the screen as

0HKRC KIT, COVER, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY, N-TOUCH, AW15

can I upgrade the screen or is it better to replace with as near original as possible..and suggestions on where to get one..Thanks..

there may be some other bits I need! but I've got it working from an external monitor so I'll rebuild as I need to
