14 R1, ejecting CD, won't boot

<Moved out of Alienware General - Read Only board and into Alienware Laptops board. DELL-Admin>

My hard drive died with a CD in the CDROM.  I can't eject it to reinstall the OS disk.  There doesn't seem to be a manual release.  How exactly, please give exact steps, does one get the CD out of the drive? I see no option in the BIOS?

There should be a tiny hole in the drive face and if you insert a paper clip (that has been straightened) into the hole and push it should open.

If you still can't get it out then you can reinstall Windows using the Microsoft Media Creation Tool and an 8gb USB drive. If you have previously had an activated Windows 10 installation on the laptop then your Microsoft key will be stored on the motherboard for re-activation after you reinstall Windows.
