Why does my 3 month old Alienware 17 r4 beep all the time?? its really annoying
Recently I purchased an alienware 17 r4 from dell for a lump sum of money... only to be annoyed with ongoing beeping sounds all the time even when gaming. The beeps are short and differentiate from one beep or two beeps at a time. Its truly a nuisance to game on the best laptop only to be interrupted by ongoing beeps. Can anyone help or know whats going on? Faulty hardware? Any help is appreciated.

Try a clean boot and a BIOS update.

There are tons of WINDOWS 10 things that like to beep up a storm.
go to PC SETTINGS , SEARCH AND APPS, PLAY NOTIFICATION SOUNDS, TURN OFF.

Others have Done
Control panel; Appearance and Personalization ; Personalization ; at the bottom, "sound" then drop down box "sound scheme" choose "no sound"
