R6 7700k 1080ti 32hyperfuryx @ 2667
Anyone has issues with this set up? Just ordered mine yesterday and I came across this guy on you tube having issues after he upgraded his r6 to 32mb hyperfyry @ 2667. thank you. I also configured mine with liquid cooler if that helps. Tnx

Hmm. I think you got the wrong impression.
Since you want 32gb of HyperX Fury memory at 2667mhz, and you bought it that way from Dell (instead of trying to do upgrades later) you did exactly the right thing ... the best way. I don't think it's going to be a problem.

If you purchased it with Dell's special OEM Kingston HyperX-Fury XMP DDR4 DIMMs pre-installed, I'm thinking it will work fine. I say this because even though the Service Manual shows 8gb being the max DIMM size allowed, generally 16gb DIMMs are supported in Aurora-R6. However, there are limitations on max installed XMP memory. Maybe it only works with 8gb DIMMs x4 as manual shows? I guess we will find out when you get your machine. I can assist you with checking it if you want.
I haven't seen that video. Also, if he used RETAIL Kingston HyperX-Fury XMP DDR4 DIMMs, they might have different XMP profiles burnt into them (than Dell's OEM ones). Could also be a physical config, DIMM count, or Memory Bank issue (see above).
Let's work on this (here in this thread) once you get your machine. If there turns out to be a problem, you can point Alienware Support to this thread and they will make it right. You WILL have 32gb (Total) XMP memory ... one way or the other.

Thank you. I guess I'll just have to wait. If I had only known I would have not configured it that way. Thing is it allowed me . Thanks . . I'll update this thread once it arrives .
