Help, Alienware M14xR2 need setup multiple displays

Hi Everyone!

I've been googling up some tips on setting up multiple displays on my laptop but the information im looking for is hard to come by.  What I would like is to get three of the same monitors and connect those to my laptop.  However after all the reading and such people are saying you need DVI, HDMI, VGA, and DP on your ports.  I have VGA, HDMI and mini DP... and I dont know if this would work??

My specs tell me that my computer is running an Intel HD graphics family right now, even though my device manager says I have a Nvidia GEforce GT 650 installed.  After further research people say that it will not use the nvidia for normal desktop work because of battery life.  So I was hoping that IF i could hook up three monitors then this graphics card would need to take over to accomodate.

Given these specifications, would I be able to hook three up?  One VGA to VGA, one HDMI to HDMI and the other find a DP to Mini DP port?     And what is of this AMD eyefinity I read that people said you NEED to use this to run three monitors?

Sorry for all the questions but any details you provide would be great!!

You will be able to connect only two external because HDMI and DisplayPort use the same internal port so you cannot use both at the same time.

And if you use VGA + HDMI or VGA + Display port the system LCD will be turned off.

http://www.displayport.org/cables/driving-multiple-displays-from-a-single-displayport-output/

this is one  way you can go beyond 2 monitors, I run a M18X R2 and using its HDMI and VGA it does infact shutdown the laptop screen ..

also something like this: http://ca.startech.com/AV/Splitters/DisplayPort/Triple-Head-DisplayPort-Multi-Monitor-Adapter~SP123DP

 but requires display port  monitors
