Dell Alienware 13 - Intel MEI Driver cannot be updated
Hi,
The “SupportAssist” on my "Alienware 13" recommends to update the Intel Management Engine Interface Driver. I do all needed and asked steps for the update with no any errors indicated. Then I reload my laptop and the “SupportAssist” is still asking me for the Intel MEI driver update. I do update manually by downloading this driver from the DELL Support Center and the driver is updated.
But the “SupportAssist” is still asking me for the Intel MEI driver update.
What is going on?
Could anyone advise, please?

Hi,
Since you have already installed several times, it sound like a glitch with Support Assist. You could try reinstalling Support Assist and running the test again. Also, check in the Device Manager to make sure there are no errors or missing drivers.
