Bluetooth adapter error 43 on alienware 17 R3
Hello everyone, this is my first post here so sorry if I ramble! I recently bought a used alienware 17 R3 which came with windows 10. I'm not a fan of win 10 so I installed win 8.1 instead, all the drivers went on fine but the Bluetooth adapter is showing error 43 its been stopped by windows. I have looked for answers, but found none that work. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver but no luck. I would go to the manufacturers site and download their driver but in device manager the adapter just says "generic Bluetooth adapter". I can't seem to find a Bluetooth driver on the dell site either. Out of ideas on this and need some help please folks.

Don't know, it is listed as generic adapter in device manager. Even if i get properties on it it says the same, and thats a bit of a problem! Lol!
