Battery Not Charging
I just bought a manufacturer refurbished Alienware 13 laptop. However, it doesn't seem to be able to charge. When I plug it in, it says that it's plugged in and charging, but the charge never goes up. It's stayed at 1% for hours and hours, even though it says it's charging. How do I get it to actually charge? This laptop is new and I don't think that battery should need to be replaced...

If "new' is less than 21 days from shipment, call Dell and have the system exchanged for a working one.
If it's within warranty but older than that, contact Dell support - they'll first replace the battery, and if that doesn't solve the problem, replace the mainboard under warranty.

This indicates a bad battery.
