Alienware X51 R3 - watercooling PROBLEM
I just recieved my Alienware X51 R3 with water cooling system today. And I have following questions?
- I thought water cooling would make the pc dead quiet when the computer was not doing hard work?
- My Alienware keeps on hummering :/
- When the pc is at the desktop in windows the power sensor/cpu is about 40-43 degree is that normal and the PCI fan is about 1000 RPM.
- Is it normal to hear the water from the collersystem, it sometimes comes.
This is my second Alienware, got it replaced by the first one that was defekt.

Yes. It normal to hear the water sometimes.

But this is all the time, and sometimes it get louder and louder and the machine smells of hot electronical parts.

On my X51 R3 , you can hear the fans and water cooler at startup . After a few minutes you don't know the computer is even on it's so quiet. Are your reading anything like my reading above? Your computer is really loud.
