Alienware 13r2 USB C does not connect to phone
When i plug in my new phone (Sony Xperia XZ) with a USB C->USB C-cable it doesn't show up on my laptop, in fact it doesn't register at all, nor does it start charging. I've tested with my friends OnePlusOne, and it has the same issue. I've tested the cable on another PC, and it works fine there. I also installed the latest chipset and Thunderbolt drivers from the support page (no dedicated USB 3.1-drivers).

i saw someone on the forum with the same issue as you and he solved the problem using the USB-c driver from the last XPS 13 skylake look on support to find the driver :)

Thanks for the try, but alas there was not a useable USB-c driver for Win 10 for that one (or rather those ones, i tried all models with Skylake). There was a USB 3.1-driver for WIn 8.1 64 bit, but it didn't help. I find it fairly odd that Dell chooses to ship their top-of-the-line models without proper driver support, even now more than 7 months after i initally bought it .. then again, with my most recent experience with their support in general i suppose i shouldn't be surprised :( Any other good suggestions? :)
