AW2725DF triple monitor setup only have two active at the same time
Alienware 27 360Hz QD OLED Gaming Monitor AW2725DF
I have three AW2725DF monitors connected to RTX3090 via DP1.4 cables. Windows 11 only allows to select two monitors active at the sametime. Whenever I chose the 3rd monitor in nVidia control panel the 2nd monitor will automatically uncheck by itself. After some Googling I believe it's due to DSC feature that we can't toggle off in the monitor. Is this correct? DELL please fix it in a firmware update allows the user to toggle DSC off.

Turning off DSC will result in less bandwidth being available for each monitor. I am not sure of a DSC toggle on that monitor model would make sense, considering the refresh rate.

But with DSC how can I use 3 monitors at once?

@zhoupc You can't because of the # of internal heads used with DSC on. It will exceed the # of internal heads available, hence one monitor will not work.
Without DSC your refresh rates will go down, with DSC you can only drive 2 out of 3 monitors. The problem is with the high refresh rate and the resolution of the monitor, needing X amount of bandwidth per monitor.
To really fix it you would need DP 2.1 connectivity, but that's only available on Radeon 7000 series video cards and I am not aware of any consumer monitors using DP 2.1 connectivity. Will also require DP 2.1 cables.
With a DSC toggle you could potentially fix the issue, but you would be locked to a lower refresh rate for sure.

@Vanadiel Yeah that's my point. This monitor needs a DSC toggle so I can turn it off when I need it. Or automatically turn off at lower refresh rate. At least give the user option.
