AW2721D, no Input Source Auto Select?
The AW2721D does not have an "Auto Select" Input Source option.
Why is the AW2721D missing such an essential feature found on almost all Dell and Alienware monitors (including the AW2720HF)?
Was the omission of "Auto Select" just an oversight or a hardware limitation?
Can the "Auto Select" feature be added to the AW2721D with a firmware update?

Hi,
the non-existing autoselect feature is really annoying. So same question here: Can this feature be delivered via firmware updates? It would make the home office much easier, this should really be a mandatory feature.
Best Regards,

Same here: this would be so valuable for me! I would have expected this feature out of the box.
I also have an Alienware monitor (AW2721D)

Really disappointed that this quality of life feature is missing from a $700 monitor. I agree, couldn’t this feature be added in with a simple firmware update? Even my <$200 Dell 1080p monitor has this feature and works great, automatically switching between my work laptop and gaming system.

You would think this to be a standard feature, my Dell 1504FP monitor does this and thats 20 years old...
