Aurora R15, Cryotek cooling

Hey guys I just purchased an R15 but selecting the Cryotek cooler wasn’t an option and I was forced to have to settle for the basic liquid cooler. Dell says there out of stock of the Cryotek ones 🙄 does anyone know where I can find these or have one their willing to sell?

Are you having thermal issues with the 'basic cooler', or are you just interested in the performance enhancing RGB logo?

The 92KFV part I believe might be for an AMD? I assume wouldnt work on the  i7 13700KF ?

@redxps630

Thanks! So the JRPPD CN5XT is for AMD processors and the 92KFV is for Intel?

I did find this listing here

https://www.ebay.com/itm/155867636393?mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11050.m43.l1123&mkcid=26&ch=osgood&euid=1728578a7a02487fa8cfa505c809a454&bu=43292913960&osub=-1%7E1&crd=20240202205907&segname=11050

But I cant tell if the front of that unit is the Hexagon (Cryotek) or the Circle shape (Liquid Cooling)

The hoses are also not braided? which makes me think it isnt the Cryotek

you are probably correct.  the cryotech liquid pump has a taller profile to include the LED, whereas the regular noncryo standard AIO is low profile LC only.

another subtle clue to R15 Intel vs AMD Crytotech is that the Intel LC has a lined pattern whereas AMD has a honeycomb one.

Intel Cryo

Intel

AMD

@redxps630

Thanks for these observations! Do you know of any other sources besides Ebay that would sell these?

Hey Chris

I just ordered an R15 with the i7-13700KF. It comes with the Liquid cooling as the Cryotek was not an option to chose. Dell advised they have been out of stock for a while. A forum member directed me towards this Cryotek cooler on ebay and I wanted to confirm with you if this is 100% the part that I am after?

Thanks for your help! :)

I believe the CN5XT might be for AMD processors and not intel? And that the 92KFV is for intel? I found a 92KFV on ebay but the hoses are not braided which makes me think this is a liquid cooler and not the cryotek? Any help would be great! Thank you!
