Aurora R13, Cryo-Tech Cooling upgrade

12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900F (30 MB cache, 16 cores, 24 threads, 2.40 GHz to 5.00 GHz Turbo)

I have purchased Aurora R13 with the above processor. The system with liquid cooling. I have purchased a Dell Cryo Tech cooling and installed. However, the command center never recognize this upgrade.

I tried to install Intel Cryo Cooling Software from Intel website but the error states the processor is not compatible.

However, Dell is selling R13 with this type of processor and CryoTech cooling.

Even the Techie from Dell is helpless.

Appreciate any help.

I am not sure what you are trying to do with the cooler, but the Cryo tech cooling from Dell is not an Intel product.

Intel does sell cryo cooling, but that is a completely different product.

I have the same 65w air cooled cpu

where did you manage to get the dellcryo cooler from? As of this is second hand it could be faulty which is preventing it from working correctly

have you connected the headers as per the r13 user guide as I believe if you use the wrong fan connectors on the motherboard  it will throw up errors And prevent the command centre from seeing it correctly

Thank you. All the ports are connected just fine on motherboard. What could be wrong? I have purchased Cryo Cooler on eBay primarily for RGB. It looks good.

I don't see any driver software from Dell to make it work. Any ideas?

I bought a Clear Side Panel with 1000W PSU and standard liquid cooler. I bought cryo tech cooler on ebay and then installed it on mother board as directed. Connected all the cables as per the manual. Leaving CPU FAN port as directed.

I am still unable to see in the command center. In addition, CPU Fan connection error pops up. If i connect to CPU cable, Rear fan error coming up.

Don't want to return the computer and trying to fix it.

Do you have a link to the listing?

Is it as simple as replacing liquid cooler with another RGB enabled liquid cooler (Cryo Tech)? No software change required? Command Center showing standard liquid cooler despite connecting Cryo Tech one.

The Cryo Tech RGB lights up when booting, fans rotate fine. Thermals showing wrong reading like 99 degree despite no load.

Clear CMOS by disconnecting power from the PSU, removing the CR2032 coin cell battery and holding in the power button for 30 seconds.

At $150 plus thermal paste you must have wanted that RGB bling pretty bad.

I am assuming you removed the original thermal paste and replaced it with a new application of thermal paste?

The only difference is the cryo cooler has 4 connectors compared to the two on the older aio

Oh yeah RGB Alien logo is one of the must want things... its cool.

CMOS reset did not help. any software update required? How does the computer know this is a new type of cooler and act accordingly with out software change.

Dell support guys have no basic idea around this. They are trying to fix the RGB on standard cooler... Lord save them!

No software associated with a AIO CPU cooler except possibly RGB control. What is AWCC showing that you think is incorrect?
