Aurora R13, RTX 4090 FE upgrade

I had several people reach out and ask for a photo of the Aurora R13 with the 4090 FE installed. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out, I’d be happy to help!

@JohnnyRamone Full native 4K gaming with max graphics in MWIII, temps never exceed 62C.

Temps seem fine to me 😀

Looks nice but I dont think there is enough space between PSU and 4090FE. There is even less compared to the R15/16 motherboards. That 4090 needs to breathe!

That is interesting. Just the one question that lingers in my mind is why not get a new case and a new motherboard? I am almost convinced it would increase overall performance between 5-10%, provide better airflow and provide "more breathing room".

I know it did on my R10 when I pulled the components and transferred them to a new build.

@Vanadiel Definitely would provide better airflow, and something I’ve considered for the future.

May do something like a 5000T case, upgrade to 360AIO, and run 10 fans.

bro how did you connect your power cables. The 1000w psu I have only came with 2 - 8pin connectors and 2 - 6 pin but the 6 pin connectors are coming out of the same 8 pin wires lol if u get what I am saying. can you please post a link to the extensions cables you got which I am assuming is what you did.

@danialmirza6 Hey man, sorry I didn't reply. I see you found the correct splitter to create another 8Pin.

I recently upgraded my PSU from the 1000 to the 1350 in my R13 so that my GPU would have a single native plug. I included a photo below.
