Aurora R12, advice on BIOS updates
I just bought an R12 on Ebay. The current bios is 1.1.24 and my bios is 1.1.4 so I'm wondering if I should even attempt to install it? I've seen recommendations that I should install all the old ones in order but that's like around 15 or so bios updates, each one fraught with the possibility of bricking my PC. What do you guys think? Also I have no command center on my R12 so what order should I install those programs?

Don't try to fix that what does not need fixing.
If it works and you do not need any of the fixes a new BIOS brings, there's not need to upgrade it.

You can install newest BIOS version no matter how many versions in between, any version released is fully self-contained with code to run everything on the board. This is why any BIOS version can be used to fix a corrupted/wrong BIOS firmware or new board/EEPROM from scratch. Even if this could cause issues, Dell and others implement BIOS recovery to prevent bricking possible in the past from wrong/bad BIOS flashes. There's been so many security exploits fixed in that many versions that I'd very strongly suggest installing the newest version ASAP. Just make sure BIOS isn't set to block UEFI/BIOS updates from the OS or put it on a USB and flash it from f12 on boot.
