Aurora R11, liquid cooling, PC reliable?

I’m wanting to buy a Alienware Aurora R11 but I am just curious if they’re any problems with liquid cooling such as leaks? Also would I need to maintenance it and if so how often? Also is the PC itself reliable?

Thank you so much for the reply but is it necessary to equip the liquid cooling on the gpu? Like if I don’t have it will there be any major problem like over heating or anything?

The picture above is my current setup

Will wait for the pic to post.

As to whether it is necessary to liquid cool the GPU, it is up to you. Remember that RTX chips have Boost 4.0 that gives you higher clock rates at lower temperatures. It is hardware controlled temperature dependent "turbo" on NVIDIA chips.

I have a 2080 Super with a hybrid liquid cooler and it ran 65C under load. I got 2040MHz boost out of it. Swapped to waterblock custom loop, dropped temps to 55C and my boost jumped up to 2100MHz.

Current setup is

10th hen intel i9 10900k (10core 20mb cache 3.7ghz-5.3ghz with thermal velocity boost

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 super 8gb gddr6(Oc ready)

16gb dual channel hyper X fury ddr4 xmp at 3200MHZ up to 64gb

512GB m.2 PCle NvME SSD (Boot)+2TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/S

Lunar chassis with high performance liquid cooling and 1000W power supply

so based on this u think I should get the gpu with liquid cooling?

Should I get regular single 1tb for now and maybe later on I can attach a external Hardrive?

Depends on your use model. If you don't install a lot of software and have more data, just get a 512GB M.2 SSD with the 2GB HDD or just the 512GB M.2 HDD and later on add a 2TB SATA SSD as your needs grow.

For me, I have 512GB M.2 SSD as my boot drive, 1TB SATA SSD as my Steam games drive, and 2TB HDD for photos.

No need for an external drive.  There's two unused caddies built-in to the chassis waiting for you to add 2.5" sata SSDs.

So I should keep the 512GB m.2 PCle NvME SSD (Boot)+2TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/S?

Ok so I need to buy this first:https://www.amazon.ca/UGREEN-Adapter-Support-Include-Screwdriver/dp/B07YFW5HBN

and then buy this:https://www.newegg.ca/western-digital-black-sn750-nvme-2tb/p/N82E16820250114  to link to the Adapter and then I’m set?

Ok I’ll probably buy those exact parts tbh but I’m not sure how to install those so should I find someone that can do it for me?

also these parts r used to help with cooling and extra storage correct?

and finally a external hard drive can do these jobs or anything?

Get the cheapest smallest storage option you can and then toss it out to replace with 1TB or 2TB of WD SN750 or Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 NVME SSD. Or like me you can get the Alienware with 2TB HDD and use it to store photos.

You really haven't told us how you plan to use your storage so we're all telling you the best way EACH of us THINKS. Like those other 2 Germaniums can stone me but I have my 2TB spinner rocking in my R8 that I'm using to type this now.
