Aurora R10, upgrade to GeForce RTX 3080?
Hello,
I have an Aurora R10 with the following specs in the “Dark Side of the Moon” Chassis:
16GB. 1×16GB. DDR4, 3200MHz. XMP
AMD Ryzen(TM) 7 5800 (8-Core, 36MB Total Cache, Max Boost Clock of 4.6GHz)
512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6
Dark Side of the Moon chassis with Low-Profile Smart Cooling CPU Heatsink and 550W
Power Supply
Wondering if I can upgrade to 850w PSU and GeForce RTX 3080 GPU? Since I’ve read somewhere that I might not have standard connectors and/or might not have enough space for upgrades?

Maximum GPU length 267 mm, only OEM models are validated.
There's an FAQ on top of this forums that provides all the details on the R10
I would suggest switching out that heat sink for liquid cooling first.

The R10 PSU is standard ATX format and the connectors are also standard . . . so you can swap it out with a third party PSU. Consider a fully modular PSU that is no longer than 150mm.
Dual channel RAM and the aforementioned liquid cooling would be preferable upgrades.

I have the same cpu and gpu only I have a 1000watt psu and I’m looking to upgrade my gpu. I’m looking at 6850xt, 7600 or 4060ti, do you see any issues I may have or should any one of them plug and play?

Plug & Play . . . as long as it physically fits in your case.
