Aurora R10, turns on every morning by itself

Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R10

Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R10

Suddenly my computer turns on by itself every morning. Never did this before. The only change I can think of is that this started happening after BIOS update to 2.3.3, but I cannot be sure that is the cause. I would like to stop this from happening.

That's a common problem after performing a BIOS update. Do what Tesla suggested. Go into your BIOS settings and Turn On the scheduled power on. Just pick any time. Reboot and go back into the BIOS and this time Turn Off the scheduled power on time. That will fix that problem.

So what you are trying to do is manually create a scheduled power on cycle in the BIOS, then you are deleting it in the BIOS.

Check for BIOS option to turn-on at a specific time.

I think a Windows Schedule Event can also do it (but not sure if those work if computer is completely turned off).

When I went into the BIOS the scheduled power on was disabled. I enabled it, rebooted and then went back into the BIOS and disabled it, rebooted.  That stopped the unwelcome power on's from happening. Thanks.
