Aurora A4 - Thermal Controls (Alien Command Center) - CPU Pump/Sensors no longer work

Hello,

I have an Alienware Aurora R4 and my bios is at A11.

I have had no issues to date, but I believe with the recent windows update it somehow broke the Alienware Command Center Thermal Controls. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but all sensors say 0'C, Hard Drive Fan 2 - 0 RPM, CPU Pump - Failed, PCI Fan  - 0 RPM, Hard Drive Fan 1 - 0 RPM.

My computer sounds like it's running the fans around 50% from my experience (way louder then my usual but not as loud as 100%).

I don't know what else to do, any advice or more information I can provide?

I am generally concerned about over use of fans leading to meltdowns or over-usage.

Hi @MeckRuler,

You can try a system restore prior to the Windows update.

Also, try a power drain: unplug every external device from the system (including the power cord), then hold the power button for around 1 minute to drain all the power out.
