system32.bridge.dll missing -- what do i do?? is this file necessary how do i reload if it is

system32.bridge.dll missing -- what do i do?? is this file necessary how do i reload if it is

i get this msg when i boot.. pc still runs but not sure what to do

Your PC is likely infected with spyware. Don't panic!

Go to this page: http://aumha.org/a/parasite.htm and follow the steps under "Quick fix Protocol".

You must do the steps in the exact order they are listed.

Post back with your results!

Bridge.dll is spyware. Some scan and removal tools here:

http://www.pestscan.com/

http://www.2-spyware.com/file-bridge-dll.html

If these aren't enough, you can do a Google search for Bridge .dll

So this is probably alright not to have loaded on my computer since it is spyware...?

Correct.

You do not want want this stuff on your PC any more than you would want a parasite attached to you.

While some adware may be harmless, others are a security risk (spyware).
