Outlook Express

Everytime one of my friends sends me an email, before I can veiw it a message pops up which says "Your current security settings prohibit running activeX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly" His messages are the only one's that give me this problem and I get a lot of emails He has been trying to fix it by changing some settings but has not been ablr to find the problem.

Your friend could send you messages in Plain Text instead of HTML to avoid this. You can also change message format in the Read tab by going to Tools, Options, Read, check Read messages in plain text. Your friend probably has a active x animated signature in his emails. You can also lower your security settings in Internet Explorer, Tools, Options, Security, Internet Zone, Custom to allow safe Active X scripts.
