Hi, The XP mode in Win 7 Pro has 2 drawbacks that I have found. Because it is not the full XP package, it wont render 2D and 3D, and it will effect your video, so no movies and no games which require 2 and 3D will play. Microsoft have said, it only there to run applications. But if your after full DOS, try running FREEDOS HERE, in VM mode, I have heard that people were even running Win 3.1, and Win 95 in VM mode. Also have an look HERE. If you want to create your own VM mode have an look at this link below, its quite good.
