McAfee Pro version 8.0 for 2 dells
I have 2 Dells purchased July 03 and Aug 03. Now that the McAfee VirusScan Trial expired, what would be the best route to pay for subscription service? If I own both, do I need to purchase annual plans for both units? $60.00 for both. Or purchase the Pro Version 8.0 that allows use by 2 units?
Does anyone know the annual fee for the Pro update each year? Could Dell help me out with the price for customers that have 2 units?

You need to buy subscriptions for each installation, and Dell does not offer any sort of discount for customers with multiple systems.
I don't know what McAfee's policy is regarding OEM installations of VirusScan. Norton allows users to purchase an annual subscription of updates to an OEM version. If McAfee does the same, your cost would be $39.90 (according to this which is less than the cost of VirusScan Professional ($59.99 for download, $69.99 for packaged version).

Thanks for the reply, I probably will purchase the pro 8.0 because is comes with a year subscription and is allow coverage for 2 units. The price for 2 units to subscribe with the default Mcaffe is 2@29.95 a year.
If the annual subscription for pro8.0 is reasonable. It might be my best solution, I'll call McAffe on Monday,
