Fingerprint Reader Software with Windows 7 64bit on an XPS M1330
Hi All
Having upgraded my OS from Vista 64bit to Windows 64bit, I am having problems with the Fingerprint software.
I have got Windows 7 to recognise the reader for the purpose of the initial setting up of the finger prints and then logging in to windows, but the Fingerprint Reader Suite does not recogines the reader is installed so I cannot register any websites or use other features of the software suite.
Any suggestion would be welcome.

Thank you for contacting the Dell Community Forums. The XPS M1330 appears to have a UPEK fingerprint reader. Have you tried to install the Windows 7 version of the UPEK fingerprint reader software? Information on that software can be found here. This software hasn't been directly validated by Dell, but it may resolve your issue.
