Need help changing the Taskbar color back to default blue!

I had a virus(spysheriff) a few months ago that has been taken care of, but it left me with a silver taskbar and silver START button. The START button is always supposed to be green and I understand that you can change the taskbar a few colors. It really hasn't bothered me until lately and I want to get rid of this but I cant figure it out. Any suggestions are welcomed

I wish it was easy as that. I have been through it a million times. The appearance tab has three prompt boxes.

!) Windows and Buttons: set as WINDOWS CLASSIC STYLE(the only option)

2) Color scheme: There is a whole bunch and it allows me to change the color of the TITLE BAR of open windows but not the Taskbar. I have this set as WINDOWS CLASSIC now...

3) font...

Hi:

I'm not one of the experts on this board, but with my XP SP2, when I do CP, Display, I click the "checkmark" under Windows and Buttons.  I then get two options, Windows Classic Style and Windows XP Style.  When I select Windows XP Style it gives me "Color Scheme Options"  Default (Blue), Olive Green, and Silver.  Default gives me the Blue task bar with green Start.

I think I'll go back to Silver!!

Thanks for replying Frank. Sounds like this is where the problem is. I have XP as well, but like I said the only option available is windows classic style. I wonder why...
