Active Stylus and Windows 8.1

Question

I am trying to get my Active Stylus set up on my Windows 8.1 Venue Pro 11. 1. Should it appear in the list of devices as does my Bluetooth keyboard? 2. Where can I find the driver for the Active Stylus, the current pen input driver is the Microsoft default and that is probably not the correct driver.

I did not do anything to set-up a driver, on my DV8P--rather the system did what it needed to, automatically. Having said that, there was a software panel update download at the Downloads page for my tablet, which I installed, as it was supposed to improve the tablet experience, including with the stylus.
