Sonic Record Now Plus

I just got a new computer that has Sonic Record Now Plus. I am not familiar with this program at all. I would like to backup all the folders in My Documents and also backup some photos and videos. Can someone tell me what kind of CD to buy? Can I use the same type CD for data and photos and videos, or do I need separate ones? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You need recordable CDs, also known as CD-R. They are the same regardless of what you're putting on them. The better brands are Sony, Fuji, HP, Maxell. I've had no problems with Staples brand.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have another question. I was just looking at my packing slip from Dell and listed is 16X DVD+/-RW Drive. Does that mean that I need to buy a DVD and not a CD? Thanks.

You can burn either one.  Start with CDRs till you get the hang of it.
