Installing a low profile graphics card

Hi, I've got a Dell C521 and have got an XFX Radeon 4350 low profile card with an XFX low profile bracket kit.

Can somebody explain which one of the brackets I should use.  I thought the S-video and VGA because I have a VGA monitor but then the DVI connection (on the bracket) gets it in the way.  If I use the double bracket then the card won't go in the PCI-E slot.

Hi giner, Modern graphics are now made for the Digital era, which includes DVI and HDMI. What you need to get is an DVI to VGA adapter. Slot your graphics card into the slot on your mobo, then pluging in your adapter into your DVI plug. Like this one HERE.

Hi al,

I've got a Dell Dimension 9150 with a X600 graphics card, which I'm desperate to upgrade. I was looking at the ATI Radeon HD 4670, but I'm worried that the card won't fit into my case. The X600 looks pretty small (low profile??). Does anyone know if the HD 4670 will indeed fit into the case? Really don't want to buy the card and find out it's too big. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Nige

Hi, I would not buy that 4550 from dell. In their compatibility chart they dont mention the ( S ) slim line models and do not mention an low profile bracket. The 4550 is an good card, get it HERE, and its cheaper.
