How to make my PC DVD Player region-free

It is such a bother not to be able to play DVDs in all regions.  My DVD player is TSSTCorp DVD+-RW SN-208BB.  I changed the region once to be able to play a DVD from US.  Now I want to play one from UK and it says I can change only once and that is the last change allowed.  Is there a way to make it play in multi-regions?  I could do that on my Philips DVD.

Hi GeekAtWork,

Some DVD players may only let the region be changed a specific number of times. After the limit is reached, the DVD player is locked to the last region that was selected and only DVD discs that are set to that particular region can be played. There is no built-in feature that allows you to make your DVD player multi-region free. However you may want to refer to the following article for more details: http://bit.ly/9uaFXS

Hope this helps. Do reply if you have any further questions. I would be glad to assist.

A hack-free workaround is to have two DVD drives, one set to each region.
