Cd drive doesnt recognize blank CD-R's
Just got it working properly again, but now drive doesnt read/burn blank 700mb CD-R,...will read and write to DVD CD-R's but only blinks and causes pc to freeze when regular CD-R's are inserted and then when attempting to eject,.....dimension 3100

I followed your instructions exactly. Once I clicked on "Write files to CD" I received the "Welcome to CD Writing Wizard" screen (the one where you can name the CD). I clicked next and I immediately (as in the drive doesn't even sound like it tries to read the CD) get a screen that says "There is no disc in the drive. Please insert a writeable CD into drive D:\."
I've been using Sony CD-R 80 min. discs. I also tried Memorex CD-R 80 min.
