A "different "question about REGION Locked DVD drives
It really isn't a big deal to me if my machines (I5100 and D2400) lock themselves to Region 1. But what I am wondering is once they are locked will they be able to play Region 0 discs? (Region 0 = Multiregion for those who don't know).
The reason I ask is that my sister is going to England in a few months and I aksed her to pick up some Region 0 DVDs of my favourite Brit and Aussie soaps.
I didn't see any reference to Region 0 on the screen which refers to Region locking on the DVD menu in hte SYSTEM folder. But does anyone know if the drives are lockable to Region 0? Hate to think that in the future I wouldn;t be paying attention to it and locked it to something I would only have a few discs for!
Ta everyone

On the contrary. I understand quite well. I wanted to know if once locked to region 1 if it would play a region 0. I also wanted to know that if I put a region 0 disc in on my last change if it would lock to region 0.
Both questions were answered quite nicely.
