To determine if your system will support 533MHz FSB processors, you can either:
- put your service tag into the support.dell.com site, look for your original shipping configuration, look specifically for the motherboard and see if the motherboard description mentions "533".
- open your system, look for the Dell serial number (DS/N) on the motherboard, exclude the first 2 letters and following 0, and take the next 5 characters. This is the partnumber of your motherboard. Google this, or post it here and someone can tell you if it's a 400MHz board or a 533MHz board (533MHz board is obviously fully capable of running 400MHz processors too).
