Enter the system bios (F2 during boot), look for 'memory info' select this, a pop up window will appear. Look for 'redundant memory' and set this to disabled. That turns off memory sparing.
I am facing issue in Dell Server R810 Memory utilization, i have install memory 128GB but showing 112GB from OS. I am trying to change memory redundancy option but it is disable and not changeable. pls suggest me how can i solve this issue?

We don't have a "redundant memory option in "Memory Info"

I checked with the online manual here: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/SYSTEMS/peR810/en/HOM/PDF/R810en.pdf
and the option is listed, see page 63. You could try re-setting the nvram on the motherboard using the jumper and setting everything back to default.

Tried everything and eventually we discovered it was a bad stick, working on getting a replacement.
Thanks for the help
