Advice needed for R310 memory upgrade
Hello,
I'm going to upgrade my Dell R310 memory to maximum 32GB configuration. My server has Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3430 @ 2.40GHz; current BIOS version is 1.9.2
I'm offered the following memory from local reseller (x4):

Looks like it should work, populate the DIMMS in Channel B slots 2,4 and Channel A in slots 1,3 and leave slots 6,5 blank. Th only downfall with this configuration is that the memory will operate at 800mhz because of populating 2 Quad Rank DIMMS per channel.
