I too have a Dell Inspiron 3470. Mine is 2 1/2 years old. I started getting this message after I upgraded my SSD from 128Gb to 250Gb. I assumed it was that. I upgraded the BIOS using Dell Assist and the same error came up. Interestingly, when I hit continue it boots up normally and the date updates. I'll try the battery change to see if it happens again.
