It might just be something like a dying battery in your keyboard, radio frequency interference, etc. If you have a wired keyboard it'd be worth substituting it as a test. (Do the keyboard and mouse share a receiver?)
If your "'disable caps lock' file" is a .reg file to add a "Scancode Map" value to the registry, it looks like the procedure is the same in Windows 10 and 11; if so, it seems doubtful that's the cause.
I was finally able to get the disable caps lock key regedit file working properly. Now, if i can figure out why my keyboard entries lag or stop occasionally.
