warranty transfer to india
I bought dell laptop in dubai(UAE) and brought it to india..
My service tag:xxxxxxx
Model :INSPIRON N5010

1.What should i do to avail warranty service in india ?
2.Someone said this warranty is not valid in india even if i change service tag to india using international warranty transfer form... Is that true ?
3.Does base warranty mean i should sent laptop back to dubai for services ?What is meant by base warranty and limited warranty ?

Thanks for reaching out to us with your query. If you have purchased the system in Dubai and now want to use it in India, please call Customer Care in India with the original owner's details and they will get the ownership transferred.

Hi,
My cousin bought dell xps15 for me in dubai.i got 3 year local warranty and 1 year international warranty with it.I talked with one of your representative .they said warranty is not valid in india .only hardware warranty is valid in india .if that is so ,whats d use of international warranty.plz tell me i am very confused about this warranty thing.and how can i avail the warranty in india or if i want to extend the warranty in india how can i extend it?

My cousin bought a laptop precision n7110, around 2 weeks back from New York and gifted to me here in India. Can you please suggest me how to proceed with the warranty transfer to India.

Hello Robert,
I am Pradeep from Dubai. I recently purchased Dell 3521 model. I am not able to transfer the ownership to my sister.
system used to detect my service tag and but the continue button for the new owner is not activated.
Need your inputs.
