Wireless not detecting after a little while Inspiron N5110

Hey all,

My wireless gets disconnected every so often and I cannot detect it again in my Inspiron N5110 laptop.

This happens only with this laptop and not any other one.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the wireless driver but still doesn't work.

here is is Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030 WiFi Driver

Here is the one I downloaded www.dell.com/.../DriversDetails

When I go to device manager it shows that there are no missing drivers

Thanks but it didnt work

I installed BT_3.1.1311_s64.exe & Wireless_16.11.0_s64.exe but still nothing!!!

am getting mad with this Dell machine and seriously considering not buying my next computer from Dell!

(I cant understand why probs could still be there even after I have uninstalled old drivers, rebooted, installed new drivers and reconfigured new wireless connection etc and rebooted again)

The connection has dropped more than 10 times already but same thing doesnt happen on my other wireless devices (laptop+phone)

When I ran the exe it said the following version v16.11.0

Thanks so much for your help ieee488! do you have any other ideas?

Hi,

I now see the following message under Computer management> properties > Device Status

*******Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)************

Have you solved your wifi connection problems yet?

I got the similar problems as you had; wifi connection is frequently drop, and also it couldn't be enabled once it dropped, need reboot, very painful;

it was on a new Dell Inspiron 15 laptop with Broadcom 802.11n network adapter that I just bought; think about return it if the situation remains.
