Where to get ethernet controller driver?

I reinstalled XP Home 2002 on a Dell Inspiron 600m, but could not get ethernet controller to work. I then Installed XP Professional 2002 service pack 2. Same result I could not get the drivers off of the drivers and diagnostics CD. Is the driver in the folder Zipfiles. If so which file do I use. I went thru the FAQ's. I followed the link "drivers and downloads" http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx? There are 3 options there, but nothing happens when I click on those options, maybe the page is broken. In any case, I need the driver for the BCM 5701 Gigabit Ethernet. Windows tells me to connect to the Internet to find the driver. DUH !!!!! I ran the Ubuntu 5.10 Live linux CD, and was able to get an Ethernet connection with little fuss. I think that proves the ethernet device is functioning!

Not yet, as I have not been able to get any. I am wondering why the drivers are not on the DRIVERS and diagnostics CD that came w/the laptop. Seems counter intuitive.
