2716 - How to view the mac address per port

Hello, does anybody know how to see the mac adress(es) which are assigned to each port?

Are you asking for the list of MACs learn on a port?  Or are you asking for the MAC address that the switch uses for its management interface?

If you are asking about the MAC address use by the switch then its on this screen:

 ("Viewing Switch Status")

If you are asking for the list of MAC learn on the port, I'm not sure where it is.  Looking through the documentation, there doesn't seem to be any such table.  The limited web interface let you configure some of the function of the switch but doesn't provide as much monitoring and control as the fully managed PowerConnect switches.  I will ask around and if someone know of a way to retrieve this list I'll let you know.

Thanks for your fast reply!

I'm looking for the list of mac addresses which the port "knows".

Thanks for your help.

The 27xx switches provide minimum web based configuration management.  It is a step above the unmanaged switches in that it let you customize some configurations on the switch but it does not provide full management functions available in the other fully-managed PowerConnect switches.  The 27xx provides a mean to configure many of the more commonly use features such as VLANs/LAGs and you can even monitor RMON statistics from the web interface but it doesn't provide reporting functions such as the list of known/learn MACs for a given port.

So the short answer is that there is no mean by which you can retrieve the list of known MACs per port from the 27xx.
