exchange server failed during backup

You have mixed two things here -

1. If you want to take online Exchange backup, your backup command is correct i.e. nsrxchsv but the save set has to be MSEXCH:.
2. If you want to backup M: or E: that belong to Exchange server, your save set would be M: & E:(in two lines) but backup command is not required.

You message suggests you are trying a backup with online backup command nsrxchsv but with a File System Save Set.

Please check and use the correct combination.

but this message is still occuring: "nsrexecd: SYSTEM error: There is already a machine using the name: "db_test_env.rsadf.mil". Either choose a different name for your machine, or delete the "NSR peer information" entry for "db_test_env.rsadf.mil" on host: "hq-cm.rsadf.mil"
so, i tried to delete the NSR peer information, but i couldn't. it said that i must have administrator privilages and iam logged on as an administrator.
but it is still backing up the cient. does it matter really?

i checked the fields but i will recheck them again. this is a part of the latest log file:

Check the aliases fileds for other clients, why would you use this name in another server. Remove it from there.

May be on the host - hq-cm.rsadf.mil.
