When Using Wizard to create additional SQL backup get out of memory error.
In Networker 8.0.2 when I add another SQL job for a new SQL instance on a server using the wizard, as soon as I click under available applications "SQL Server" I get a pop up window saying OUT OF MEMEORY with a ok button, when clicked wizard goes away. I have copied and existing job and then under properties gave it the new MSSQL Instance name and that new job runs with out errors. We have restored our test data base after this error started occurring and it worked as desired to restore the data.
We will be adding additional; SQL instances to this server as we consolidate our production SQL servers and SQL versions. At some point I will need to add additional SQL servers too if this error continues it will hamper our ability to use the configuration wizard.
Does anyone know how I can correct this? Where I should look for additional error info?
This is a new install of 8.0.2 on a 2008r2 server to backup 2008r2 w/SQL standard 2008 to a data domain. both servers are virtual machines in VM 5.1/esxi 5.1.

What module version and build do you use?

NetWorker Module for Microsoft Applications version 2.4.1.92 on top of Networker user 8.0.2.0 Build 235 – this is the build of the server as well.

You may wish to update NMM to build 122 as there are some nice SQL fixes inside. Also, NW latest patch is 8.0.2.3. I'm not saying this will fix the issue you described, but it is worth doing for for other reasons.

Hi,
Is NMC installed on same server as NW server?
What is the HW resources on the server?
Is it a SQL cluster or stand alone?
What is the OS of the SQL server?

Yes server is the management console.
Dual CPU 4 Cores each 2.6 GHz
16Gb Ram
500Gb Primary drive
2008 R2
Dedicated server for Networker
SQL is stand alone, fresh build server 2008 R2 32Gb Ram Dual CPU 4 Cores each 2.6 GHz lots of space on each of its partitions. 2008 sql standard
