Restoring NTFS security on files on folders only
Our server resumed after a crash and then a checkdisk but some folders have their security perimission reseted to the default.
Having a full backup, can I restore only the security permission of that folders?

Hi Sergio,
You cannot restore the secuirty permissions only, but if you recovered the full backup of that folder, the ownership and secuirty permissions will be retained as a part of the recovery process to the folder recovered.
