Correct. Bootstrap backup does export and import media database using nsrmmdbasm which is exactly what PS would do too (manual for the command should give you an idea of steps, however recent versions do not contain examples, but if you search KB you will find examples in both KB and forums). As always, I would suggest to have sort of dry-run making sure all is fine.
I have Solve Desktop installed and I know the procedure for a HW migration. But a document called "Technical Guidance to Upgrading to EMC NetWorker Release 8.1" says:
"When 64-bit NetWorker server on UNIX has the 32-bit version of the NetWorker
software installed, you cannot update to the 64-bit version of the NetWorker software.
EMC Professional Services or a certified EMC partner must perform this update."
Please use following link to download and install SolVe desktop, you can generate procedure to migrate Networker server to a new hardware by using this -

So, you can say that migration can be done thru a simple Networker DR procedure from source (32 bit) to target (64 bit)? In other words, NW 64 bits installed on 64 bit target Linux server and then mmrecover from original 32 bits server, right?

Thank you, Hrvoje. I've used mmrecov a lot of times. However, I'll maintain original server in a safe place.
