Webcam built into monitor
I am really new at this and not very good, but I need help really bad. I bought a Dell about 4 years ago and it had a webcam and speakers built it. At the time I didn't need it, but now with family living in England I do. It DID NOT come with an installation disc for the webcam, which everything I read says that I need. There doesn't seem to be anyone in my area that sets up webcams and I am totally lost. Can anyone tell me what to do short of buying a new computer.
Thank you
Ms Hat

I've been up all night trying to figure this out. This immediately solved my problem.
The web cam built into that monitor is a USB device.
You must connect a USB cable from monitor to your computer to enable that built-in webcam.
When you connect the USB cable, that webcam should pop up on your mangler.
Hope this helps. It worked for me.

Are you talking about a webcam built into a Dell Laptop PC or a Dell stand alone monitor?
