S2721QS, unable to output 10 bpc
Hi (again),
After various software issues (for which amd and lenovo is to blame) i finally managed to connect my Lenovo yoga slim 7 14ARE05 laptop (rx vega 7 iGPU, Windows 10 home 2004 version) to my DELL S2721QS (REV A01-july 2020) via HDMI v2.0 (both devices support v2.0), using the "extend screen" option. I use "amd radeon settings lite" and attempt to output 10bpc (instead of the default 8bpc) at 1920x1080@60Hz. The option to switch from 8bpc to 10bpc is available, but once i make the switch (using either 4:4:4 or 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 subsampling) the monitor turns completely black, as if i "exceeded my bandwidth", which is obviously not the case, as i am capable of displaying 4k@60Hz 8bpc 4:4:4 with that particular configuration. When i turn it back to 8bpc it instantly resumes normal function. I am unaware of what the issue is. Using this same laptop and cable i am able to connect to my samsung tv and display 1920x1080@60Hz 12bpc 4:2:0. Any input would be appreciated. Regards, Andreas PS. I CANNOT update the amd drivers to the full adrenalin software, because that creates other incompatibility issues which i described in my previous post.

Hi, Andreas. Did you manage how to enable 10-bit color gamut with your monitor and laptop? I have the same monitor, and a laptop with the same specs. Tried everything I could to enable it, but with no luck. Monitor loses connection for a few seconds, and reverts to 8-bit.
