P2422HE, issues with USB, Ethernet, flickering
We've deployed a bunch of P2422HE monitors recently, and several users are reporting issues with them.
The most common issues are related to the built-in Ethernet port. Users report losing connection briefly and getting drop outs during video meetings. If they use a standalone USB to Ethernet adapter on the same network connection, everything is fine.
Users also report issues with connected USB devices:
A Logitech Unifying receiver for a wireless keyboard and mouse will have issues with lag and keypresses being dropped or repeated if connected to a USB port on the monitor, but will not have these issues if connected to the USB port on the laptop. We've already ruled out range / line of sight issues with the transceiver.
Dell speaker bars attached to the monitor will sometimes not be detected by Windows, or will be detected but unusable (trying to test the device in the Sound control panel results in an error stating the device could not be accessed, or the test appears to work but no audio is played even though volume is maxed out).
Attached Logitech C920 / C920S webcams will sometimes show video fine but the microphone will not pick up anything. This is not an issue of the microphone not being selected, being muted, or being set to a low level. The live monitoring display in the Sound control panel simply doesn't register any audio being picked up by the device, despite the fact that it's connected, active, selected as the default device (and default communication device), is not muted, and the mic level is at 100, and the video of the webcam works fine.
All of these issues have persisted across various laptops, network connections, webcams, speaker bars, and keyboards/mice.
Users also report occasional issues with video corruption on the monitor. The display may briefly flicker, black out, or portions of it may appear lower resolution or grainy.
These monitors are being used in connection with brand new Dell Insipron 13" and 15" 2-in-1 laptops. For example, the Dell Inspiron 15" 2-in-1 (Inspiron 7506). We use the supplied USB cable to connect the laptop to a P2422HE monitor. In some cases, we daisy chain a second monitor with a DisplayPort cable, but some users are just using a single monitor. We plug in an Ethernet cable and a Logitech Unifying transceiver into the monitor. We may also plug in a Logitech C920 or C920S webcam, a Dell speaker bar, or a Dell printer to the monitor.
The laptops are running Windows 10 (21H2) and are fully up to date. They're relatively fresh installs, with nothing unusual installed (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom).
We've also tried using different USB-C cables. Certified 10 Gbps and 20 Gbps cables don't alleviate the issue. I don't believe we're exceeding the available USB bandwidth with a single (or sometimes dual) monitor setup and minimal USB peripherals.
Does anyone else have experience with these issues?

I have experienced similar issues with the ethernet connection where it tends to disconnect for about 5 seconds before reconnecting once in a while. In addition, I have a hard time getting it connecting to the ethernet at all, but it manages to work after a while. Lately, after I changed my router and it stops working completely. It keeps connect and disconnect rapidly (it makes a high-pitched noise when its connected), I verified it by looking at the ethernet LED at the bottom of the monitor. It happens to me when I am using both a Macbook Pro 2016 13-inch or a Dell Latitude 7480. I tried connecting the same ethernet port directly to my laptop and it works just fine.
Talking about the high-pitched noise, although its small, but its constant and annoying. It happens whenever a connection is made to the monitor, a LAN connection or any USB connection.
There is no problem about USB (dis)connectivity for my case.
As mentioned, I am using Macbook Pro 2016 13-inch Big Sur 11.6.1 and Dell Latitude 7480 running Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise.
