Integrated webcam isn't detected (Dell Latitude E6410, Win10)

Hi. The integrated webcam on my Latitude E6410 running Win 10 64-bit does not work. It does not appear in the device manager (Imaging Devices category missing), and when I try to install the driver, it says: Not required, No camera! Previously, under win7 and win8, everything worked. How to fix it?

Try installing Dell Webcam Central software in Compatibility Mode.

@coolguyoleg

There are quite a few people reporting problems with their webcam.

See if you can go into Device Manager and see if the webcam Show Hidden Device.

Try this

Device manager --> View --> Show hidden devices

under cameras mine was greyed out, uninstalled it then scanned for new devices fixed it for me

Thinking the Windows 10 Feature update broke something. Did a fresh install with Win 10 1909 and now it seems to be good now. Reboot a few times and still working.

Also make sure the camera is enabled in the BIOS.

In my case Latitude E6530 integrated camera was not showing up in device manager because it was disabled in the BIOS.
