Compatible charger.

I have a Latitude 7490 and two chargers. Which one is best for the 7490:

Model: DA90PE1-00

Model: DA130PE1-00

@rowlenw  they'll both perform identically with the Latitude 7490.  One is a 90-watt charger and the other is a 130-watt charger, but the Latitude 7490 is only designed for 65 watts.  It's perfectly fine to use a higher wattage Dell charger with a Dell system that only requires lower wattage because the system will only draw what it needs, but you won't get any benefits.  So use whichever one is more convenient for you -- or both if you want to keep chargers in two separate places in your location.

You also have the option of using USB-C chargers with that system if that would be useful.  Again 65W+ chargers would be best (although 60W are much more common), but in a pinch you could even use lower wattage chargers.  If you do so, you might end up seeing slower battery charging speeds and/or throttled performance as the system attempts to adapt to working with a reduced power budget, but you won't damage anything.

Hi! I have a dell latitude 7490 Laptop and I am thinking to buy a 65-Watt USB-C charger for it.

The brand is Ugreen and the charger supports Max 65-Watt USB-C charging.

Is a 65-Watt USB-C charger Good for my laptop or should I go for 65+ Watts USB-C chargers?
